El proyecto de construir un nuevo museo de la marca Guggenheim en Helsinki cuenta con escaso respaldo en el ayuntamiento de la capital finlandesa, ya que sólo uno de cada seis ediles apoya abiertamente la iniciativa, según publica el diario "Helsingin Sanomat". A finales de abril se celebrará el pleno municipal para aprobar definitivamente el proyecto.

Las autoridades arqueológicas israelíes han confiscado dos sarcófagos egipcios de más de 3.000 años de antigüedad y cortados por la mitad, que estaban a la venta en una tienda de antigüedades en un barrio musulman de la ciudad vieja de Jerusalén, según han informado fuentes oficiales.

El equipo de arqueólogos que trabaja en el yacimiento de los restos del castillo de Gauzón, en Raíces (Avilés), ha hallado una sala regia de finales del siglo IX, con la peculiaridad de que está equipada con un baño. Según el análisis preliminar, los arqueólogos e historiadores consideran que pudo ser utilizada por el Rey Alfonso III.
